Random Weather in the City of Notions
Just some tables I made for an old campaign (if I recall correctly some entries were suggested by other players). It's always Autumn in Fartown of course (unless the PCs broke that), so the usual weather varies more narrowly there, but sometimes the currents of magic can cause brief weather-like effects as the flow of magic from a given Sun waxes briefly. It is a magic saturated district after all, and separated from Indigo proper by a degree, which allows other Suns to exert a bit more influence.
++Satyrine weather++
0 - cool clearness of Truth, other modalities' shadows may be visible
1 - mild tremors, rhythmic
2 - butterfly storm
3 - supernaturally pleasant weather
4 - light drizzle, "flashfog"
5 - sunset, magic hour (roll for the Sun)
6 - nostalgic cold snap from the Pale
7 - memetic wind from the Blue
8 - rust like dust blown from the Red
9 - keyfall!
++Fartown weather++
0 - flux!
1 - Silver: spontaneous generation
2 - Green: rampant flora growth
3 - Blue: thoughts of others occasionally visible
4 - Indigo: difficulty of lying increased by 1
5 - Grey: ease of lying increased by 1
6 - Pale: brief wintry conditions
7 - Red: acid rain of dissolution
8 - Gold: brief springlike conditions
9 - Invisible: keyfall!
This is wonderful. Five stars!
